The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is one of the most successful and iconic machines in world rallying history. For years, evolutions V through IX defined the benchmarks for all-wheel-drive efficiency and chassis structural durability on special stages. To preserve this rally legacy while extracting maximum potential from this platform in modern motorsport, uncompromising technology is required.
Samsonas 3-way shock absorbers are a professional suspension system engineered to meet the highest performance demands. The kit provides precise control over vehicle behavior, flawless balance, and maximum efficiency of the mechanical differentials on any surface.
Independent adjustments for rebound as well as high-speed and low-speed compression give engineers and drivers complete freedom to fine-tune vehicle balance and steering responses, adapting the chassis perfectly to the characteristics of the chosen surface.
- High Speed Compression (HSC): Regulates compression during rapid piston movements, managing how the damper responds to sudden impacts triggered by surface roughness.
- Low Speed Compression (LSC): Controls compression at low piston velocities, managing body control, braking balance, weight transfer, and steering input responses.
- Rebound: A single, precise adjustment controlling the extension speed of the strut, critical for maintaining constant tire contact with the ground after clearing a bump.

Reservoir Architecture and Configuration
The kit's design has been fully optimized around the mounting space constraints of the Lancer's chassis and suspension, offering versatile configuration paths for the reservoir layout:
Front Axle: Complete freedom of configuration depending on the engine bay layout and team preference. Two variants are available:

Piggyback Reservoir: Rigidly integrated with the damper body, simplifying the architecture and installation.

Remote Reservoir (on a flexible hose): Allowing the reservoir to be routed to an optimal location under the bonnet.

Rear axle: Due to the specific design of the multi-link rear suspension and available clearance, the dampers for this axle are supplied exclusively in a compact configuration featuring a Piggyback reservoir (rigidly mounted to the body).
Every component in this kit is fully rebuildable, enabling routine servicing, end-of-season overhauls, or custom re-valving to match individual driver preferences.
