Description
Reiger Suspension 3-Way – Subaru Impreza GR / GV – Model 570 / B46
Subaru Impreza GR / GV models N14/N15introduced a revolutionary layout shift in its suspension engineering – replacing the traditional rear MacPherson struts with an advanced multi-link design. To fully unlock the potential of this new suspension kinematics and ensure a flawless chassis balance in tandem with the AWD system, Reiger Suspension engineered a dedicated kit leveraging its most reliable components.
Utilized Configuration
The distinct structural design of this newer chassis layout mandated different damper architectures for each axle, resulting in a perfectly balanced duo:
-
Front Axle – Model 570: The absolute flagship model in the Reiger lineup. The front strut features exceptional structural rigidity and thermal stability – the damper maintains identical damping forces from start to finish, completely eliminating damper fade during long and punishing special stages.
-
Rear Axle - Model B46: Due to the structural clearance constraints of the multi-link rear layout, compact yet highly efficient model B46 dampers are used at the back. They deliver full 3-way adjustment capabilities and extreme durability, matching the pace of the heavy-duty front assembly.
Independent adjustments for rebound as well as high-speed and low-speed compression give engineers and drivers complete control over vehicle dynamics, allowing them to precisely adapt the chassis balance to stage conditions and tyre choice. Available in comprehensive Gravel and Tarmac.
- High Speed Compression (HSC): Regulates compression during rapid piston movements, managing how the damper responds to sudden impacts triggered by surface roughness.
- Low Speed Compression (LSC): Controls compression at low piston velocities, managing body control, braking balance, weight transfer, and steering input responses.
- Rebound: A single, precise adjustment controlling the extension speed of the strut, critical for maintaining constant tire contact with the ground after clearing a bump.
Available Flagship Technologies
Opting for this kit allows the integration of the manufacturer's most advanced, patented dynamics systems:
-
RCV (Rebound Control Valve): An intelligent rebound management system. This technology drastically improves the traction of Subaru's permanent AWD system. RCV instantly reacts to a wheel losing contact with the ground, "gluing" the tire to the surface over curbs, cuts, or loose gravel, allowing for significantly earlier throttle application on corner exits.
-
HDP (Hydraulic Double Piston): An advanced, hydraulic double piston. It acts as a progressive hydraulic cushion that drastically increases damping force in the final phase of the stroke. This guarantees maximum protection for the chassis and absolute vehicle stability during the heaviest rally landings and deep compression loads.
-
DP (Double Piston): A progressive system that prevents sudden mechanical bottoming out of the suspension under dynamic impacts.
Available Specifications
-
Gravel Spec: Focused on maximum travel and stability on loose surfaces.
-
Tarmac Spec: Focused on handling precision on high-speed tarmac stages.
Compatibility with the Competition R4 Kit
The Reiger 3-way kit for the 3rd generation Impreza is supplied in two distinct structural variants:
-
Specification for standard suspension arms and subframes: Dedicated to classic Group N and Open class rally cars.
-
Specification for the homologated R4 Kit (N14 chassis only): A specialized, uncompromising damper variant engineered to work seamlessly with custom subframes and lightweight suspension arms from the R4 package. This configuration allows for a radical increase in suspension travel, completely transforming the car's capabilities on rough, technical surfaces.
Alternative Configurations
Our lineup also features a more cost-effective alternative kit built around the model 5062 na osi przedniej.
The base kit includes:
- Model 570 dampers for the front axle and model B46 dampers for the rear axle, complete with springs and top mounts
- A set of eccentric camber inserts for front wheel alignment adjustments
- C-spanners for ride height adjustment
