Subaru Impreza GR / GV models N14/N15introduced a revolutionary layout shift in its suspension engineering – replacing the traditional rear MacPherson struts with an advanced multi-link design. To fully unlock the potential of this new suspension kinematics and ensure a flawless chassis balance in tandem with the AWD system, Reiger Suspension engineered a dedicated kit leveraging its most reliable components.
Utilized Configuration
The distinct structural design of this newer chassis layout mandated different damper architectures for each axle. Pairing the proven model 5062 front strut with the compact model B46 rear damper delivers a highly efficient, heavy-duty solution engineered for regional rallies, single-make cups, and demanding track-day projects:

Front Axle – Model 5062: A classic competition-spec upside-down strut boasting massive lateral rigidity. In this configuration, the external oil canister is top-mounted via a flexible hose,allowing for clean routing within the engine bay and ensuring maximum oil cooling efficiency during intense cycling.

Rear Axle - Model B46: Due to the structural clearance constraints of the multi-link rear layout, compact yet highly efficient model B46 dampers are used at the back. They deliver full 3-way adjustment capabilities and extreme durability, matching the pace of the heavy-duty front assembly.
Independent adjustments for rebound as well as high-speed and low-speed compression give engineers and drivers complete control over vehicle dynamics, allowing them to precisely adapt the chassis balance to stage conditions and tyre choice. Available in comprehensive Gravel and Tarmac.
- High Speed Compression (HSC): Regulates compression during rapid piston movements, managing how the damper responds to sudden impacts triggered by surface roughness.
- Low Speed Compression (LSC): Controls compression at low piston velocities, managing body control, braking balance, weight transfer, and steering input responses.
- Rebound: A single, precise adjustment controlling the extension speed of the strut, critical for maintaining constant tire contact with the ground after clearing a bump.

HDP (Hydraulic Double Piston): An advanced, hydraulic double piston. It acts as a progressive hydraulic cushion that drastically increases damping force in the final phase of the stroke. DP (Double Piston): A progressive system that prevents sudden mechanical bottoming out of the suspension under dynamic impacts.
- RCV (Rebound Control Valve): An intelligent rebound management system. This technology drastically improves the traction of Subaru's permanent AWD system. RCV instantly reacts to a wheel losing contact with the ground, "gluing" the tire to the surface over curbs, cuts, or loose gravel, allowing for significantly earlier throttle application on corner exits. In this specific configuration, the RCV system is available exclusively on the rear axle.
