Description
Reiger Suspension 3-Way – BMW E46 (5062 / B46)
The Reiger 3-way kit for the BMW E46 is one of the premier options available for this platform. Thanks to the modular design of the front strut, the kit allows for a perfect adaptation of the suspension characteristics to your discipline – from technical tarmac rallies to the most demanding gravel stages.
Front Axle: Model 5062 – Front Knuckle Configuration
The model 5062 offers full 3-way adjustment along with available DP (Double Piston) or HDP (Hydraulic Bump Stop). A key advantage of the Reiger kit for the E46 is the flexibility in choosing the front axle hardware. The design of the 5062 strut allows for two variants:
-
Fitment for OEM E46 front knuckles: The perfect solution for competitors wishing to maintain the factory geometry and braking system of the E46 model.
-
Fitment for E36 front knuckles: A configuration frequently chosen in professional motorsport. Utilizing E36 knuckles allows for a significantly larger shock absorber travel, resulting in better bump absorption and operating stability.
Rear Axle: Model B46
Operating at the rear is the B46 damper, which perfectly manages the suspension dynamics of the E46, keeping the rear axle planted and composed even under the harshest conditions. Available in configurations for OEM mounting points or conversions. Optional DP/HDP technology and RCV (Rebound Control Valve) significantly improve traction during corner exit acceleration by keeping the tire in constant contact with the ground.
Alternative Configurations
We also offer a kit based on the top-tier model 570 for the front – the highest-grade rally damper on the market.
Available Specifications
