The GD-generation Subaru Impreza – in rally specifications ranging from N8 to N12 – remains one of the most popular and versatile platforms for building AWD rally cars. To fully exploit the potential of its stiffer chassis, a suspension system is required that can easily handle the severe loads generated on modern special stages.

The Reiger 3-way kit, based on the model 5062 on both axles, is the most cost-effective entry point into professional Reiger technology, guaranteeing long suspension travel and exceptional handling precision.

Reiger Suspension 3-Way – 5062

The model 5062 is a proven and cost-effective entry point into the Reiger lineup. This kit utilizes remote oil reservoirs connected via flexible hoses. This layout allows you to easily find mounting space within the engine bay and rear strut towers, ensuring clean installation and quick access to the adjustment clickers. A more streamlined construction allows Reiger to offer this kit at a significantly more accessible price point, without compromising on the flagship-level manufacturing precision and material quality.

The kit offers comprehensive control over damping forces via three independent adjustment circuits:

  • High Speed Compression (HSC): Regulates compression during rapid piston movements, managing how the damper responds to sudden impacts triggered by surface roughness.
  • Low Speed Compression (LSC): Controls compression at low piston velocities, managing body control, braking balance, weight transfer, and steering input responses.
  • Rebound: A single, precise adjustment controlling the extension speed of the strut, critical for maintaining constant tire contact with the ground after clearing a bump.

The following optional systems are also available:

  • DP (Double Piston): A progressive damping system that protects the assembly from sudden mechanical bottoming out.

  • HDP (Hydraulic Double Piston): A unique, hydraulic double piston that drastically increases damping force at the end of the stroke. This delivers maximum chassis protection and absolute vehicle stability during the heaviest landings or dynamic impacts into deep potholes.
