The BMW E46 remains one of the most popular rear-wheel-drive rally platforms, highly valued for its exceptional chassis rigidity and refined geometry. The Samsonas 3-way kit has been engineered for full compatibility across all major body styles: Sedan, Coupe, and Compact. Furthermore, this suspension system is available for xDrive models, accommodating the unique engineering requirements of the front axle found in four-wheel-drive variants.

• Front: Reservoirs mounted on flexible hoses(remote reservoir)which simplifies installation within the engine bay and ensures optimal cooling.

• Rear: Reservoirs integrated directly into the damper body (piggyback) guaranteeing a compact layout and excellent thermal efficiency.

Full 3-way Adjustment

An independent three-way adjustment system allows you to fine-tune the chassis precisely to the surface and your driving style:

• High-Speed Compression: Controls the response to rapid impacts, such as bumps, rocks, or track curbs.

• Low-Speed Compression: Manages vehicle body balance during braking and corner entry, reducing nose-diving and body roll.

• Rebound: Regulates the speed at which the wheel extends, instantly stabilizing the car after clearing bumps or landing from jumps.

Front Axle Geometry and Alignment

Proper alignment and geometry setup on the E46 is critical to unlocking the full grip potential of the front axle. In the Samsonas kit, front camber adjustment is managed via adjustable upper top mounts.This allows for rapid setup changes to suit a specific stage or track layout, while ensuring a rigid, solid connection between the strut and the chassis.

• Gravel Spec: Focused on maximum travel and stability on loose surfaces.

• Tarmac Spec: Focused on handling precision on high-speed tarmac stages.

• Track Spec: Maximum stiffness and minimized body roll to achieve the fastest possible lap times.
