Reiger Suspension

The Engineering of Victory

The story of Reiger Racing Suspension is a classic tale of passion that evolved into global dominance. It all began in 1977,when Gerard Seesing built his first motocross shock absorber in his own garage in the Netherlands. Today, the Hengelo-based company is a state-of-the-art R&D complex where the most advanced damping systems in the world are engineered.

Why is Reiger the World's Number 1?

These are not just empty slogans – the brand is backed by hard data from the most demanding tracks on the planet:

Years of Shock Absorber Engineering Experience

And these years have been exceptionally well-spent – the brand’s legacy is built on successes from the world's most brutal terrains. The numbers speak for themselves.

WRC Titles

Reiger Racing Suspension is a brand permanently etched into the history of the World Rally Championship, becoming synonymous with uncompromising vehicle control. For decades, the Dutch suspensions formed the foundation of success for dominant factory teams like M-Sport Fordand Toyota Gazoo Racing. It was on Reigers that Sébastien Ogier and other top drivers captured World Champion titles back-to-back, proving that in rallying, the winner is the one with the best traction.

Dakar Rally Victories

For years, Reiger has been the first choice for factory teams. Every year, nearly the entire leaderboards in the Car, SSV, and Truck categories (including powerhouses like Toyota Gazoo Racing and Audi’s prototypes) rely on Dutch components. In extreme temperatures and murderous sand, where other suspensions capitulate, Reiger delivers unwavering stability and traction.

Innovations That Make the Difference

Reiger shock absorbers are equipped with a range of proprietary systems designed to optimize suspension performance throughout the entire stroke range. These unique solutions translate directly into enhanced driving confidence and superior safety.

CCV

Hydraulic Anti-Roll

Corner Control Valve is an intelligent valve that detects the exact moment the vehicle enters a turn. As the car begins to lean, the system instantly stiffens the appropriate shock absorbers to stabilize the body. You gain ultimate handling confidence in high-speed corners while maintaining softness and maximum traction when driving straight over rough terrain.

RCV

"Fast Rebound"

Rebound Control Valve is a system engineered to maximize tire-to-ground contact, even when the car unweights or leaves the ground. The moment a wheel loses contact with the surface (e.g., after a jump or over major bumps), the RCV valve allows it to drop down instantly to regain grip. This is a crucial technology in rallying, ensuring the car "sticks" to the stage where competitors start violently bouncing.

DP

Double Piston System

Double Piston system features two pistons operating within a single cylinder. The main piston handles damping over standard irregularities, providing precise feedback and car feel. The second piston activates only when the shock enters deep compression, acting as a powerful, internal safety brake. This allows for aggressive attacks on jumps without the fear of bottoming out the suspension.

HDP

Hydraulic Double-Piston System

Hydraulic Double Piston is a more advanced evolution of the DP system. It is also designed to prevent the suspension from bottoming out, but the activation of the stiffer, safer damping profile depends not just on the shock's position, but also on the speed and acceleration acting on the piston. Its operation is much more progressive, allowing it to dissipate impact energy more smoothly precisely when needed.
